Let’s face it if you’re like most people, you care WAAAY too much about what others think of you.

You withhold your feelings. You get pissed off, and instead of talking maturely about it, you’d rather hide, and not put yourself at risk of either hurting someone with your perspective, or being rejected for it.

Rejection is a bitch. It’s a painful wound. It cuts deep and when triggered, activates a pain that can actually be felt PHYSICALLY. You know exactly what I’m talking about.

And it’s so painful you do whatever you think you have to do in order to NOT feel it.

So whether you like it or not, it’s in our DNA to care what others think. Obviously, that’s not all bad, if you shut off that part of your brain, You can become a psychopath.

But somewhere between “Psychopath” and “Co-dependent” is a happy medium.

I know this all too well. My over-dwelling on the opinions of others was the root cause of my myopic view of myself that was ALL CAREER BASED. I had to succeed so that I could get seen as successful.

And I even got married with this in the background.

Needless to say, it was a disastrous ending.

I knew that if I didn’t get this cleared, and I didn’t get my shit together in order to solve this riddle, I was never going to have a fulfilling relationship or career again.

This is why we wear masks. This is why we lose our self-expression. This is why most people can be fake.

In this episode of Trigger Proof, I dig deep as to why is it so hard to live in a way that’s “for us and by us,” and joining us is special guest Dr. Russell Kennedy who, as always brings in some flavor, humor, and Neuroscience.

There’s nothing more triggering than the feelings of rejection. My intention is to have you move one quantum leap closer to “Un-fuck-with-able”.

I will be in Barcelona live sharing tools for transforming this major constraint of human behavior… You will eave the show with a new perspective you may not ever have heard before.

Getting this part right will be the among the most impactful things you can do, for your business/work – as your withholding can impact the forward advancement of your career, and it cripples relationships and destroys intimacy, and we have seen it tied intimately with disorders like anxiety, digestive and thyroid problems, as well.

This is a necessary dragon that we must all slay if we are to live a meaningful existence.
